Wholesale: Ethiopia Shakiso Gigesa Natural

Gigesa Washing Station is comprised of around 500 smallholder farms that come together to produce high quality coffee across their cumulative 2-5 hectares of land. This allows smaller farms with lower production volume to keep up with the large demand of the coffee industry.

Through use of a flotation tank, coffee cherries are separated by their quality. They are then laid out on drying beds, and thoroughly & regularly agitated to prevent any over-fermentation. This process typically takes around 15-18 days.

The result is a coffee with gentle fruitiness and floral delicacy while maintaining sweetness & depth of flavor. It’s a well-rounded coffee that’s easy to enjoy day-to-day.
