Costa Rica Warm Anaerobic

Volcan Azul is a farm run by Alejo Castro. Him and his family have been preserving the land since the 1980s. In addition to the region around their farm, they also do conservation of around 1500 hectares of forest in the Osa Peninsula.

The warm anaerobic process involves sealing coffee in tanks at an elevated temperature, allowing them to slowly ferment in an oxygen-free environment.

The Villa Sarchi Bourbon is a mutation of a typical bourbon varietal, known for its brightness and resilience at high elevation. With a combination of its varietal and process, this coffee is perfect for people who enjoy a more experimental, funky, fruit-forward profile.
